A Love of Music Chris always loved music. I still have a collection of 45 singles with the initial CB written on, which she had borrowed from me to take to parties. Her singing took off when karaoke became popular. When Chris & Alan had a place in Spain she was known as "Brenda Lee" & she was always being asked to sing. In the last 10 years she would sing regularly with the band at my Open Mic session. Some of her favourites were: ‘Dreams’ by Fleetwood Mac; ‘Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow’ by The Shirelles; ‘Only You’ by The Flying Pickets; A duet with Gill on Adele's ‘Make You Feel My Love.’ My favourite was when she sang Johnny Cash’s ‘Jackson’ with me - she had the June Carter part nailed to perfection. Singing to karaoke is relatively easy but Chris had the ability to put in a great performance fronting a live band. ‘Little Sister’ by Elvis is another song that will always make me think of our Chris.
